At Skive Byarkiv we welcome donations of historical documents and photos etc. if they are related to our area of responsibility. If you have material that you would like to donate to our collection, you are welcome to contact us. We will in each case assess whether the material can be included in the collection. If the material does not naturally belong with us, we will be happy to advise you on where it can be donated instead.
When material is transferred to the archive, a declaration of donation is signed, setting out the terms of the transfer. Donated material will be registered in our database system and will be subject to current legislation regarding public access and any restrictions on this.
